As the national professional association for school‐based physical activity professionals and the creator of national standards, guidelines, and position papers about the components of a comprehensive program, the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE) has developed a national consensus position statement on the topic, and has position statements defining various elements of a comprehensive school physical activity program.
