Advocacy Committee
Revise or develop materials, procedures, or activities to educate legislators, key policy makers, and other advocates about quality dance and arts education programs.
Archives Chair
Review and select materials for storage in the archives.
Bylaws (Structure & Functions) Committee
Make recommendations to the Board of Directors and the NDA Assembly on ways to more efficiently promote quality dance/arts education.
Dance Educators of the Year Award Committee
Solicit nominations then review and rank nominee applications, preview the nominees' teaching videotapes, interview candidates, and conduct a final rating and ranking the nominees for each award.
Convention Planning Committee
Work as part of an onsite team to ensure smooth operations of the annual convention workshops.
Dance Pedagogy Conference Planning Committee
Brainstorm ideas and make recommendations to the Board of Directors on plans for future dance arts pedagogy conferences.
Development
Search for and develop strategies or applications for obtaining funding for the Association's operations, specific programming initiatives, technology enhancement, staff development, curriculum design, and evaluation.
Heritage Committee
Solicit nominations and help choose the honoree for the annual NDA honor award then plan a celebration luncheon at the National Conference.
Recognition Awards Committee
Review criteria and operating codes for all dance awards and solicit nominations for each award.
