Cynthia Jones, Xavier Charter School
Cynthia Jones is honored to be advocating for dance education as the K12 National Dance Educator of the Year for 2011. She is a full time dance educator at Xavier Charter School in Twin Falls, Idaho, where she teaches classes in classical ballet, ballroom, jazz, hip hop, break dancing, tap, and modern. She is also part-time adjunct faculty at The College of Southern Idaho in the dance department where she
teaches classes in classical ballet and choreographic composition. She has been involved in many community outreach projects where she also shares her passion for dance and help others in need. Cynthia "feels blessed to be in the noble profession of dance education." She credits much of her success to her "incredible students and the support of her amazing family."
