The Council for Adventure & Outdoor Education/Recreation (CAOER) supports and promotes innovative and challenging educational and recreational adventure and other outdoor activities. Holistic programming with a focus of personal growth in the out-of-doors, developing the self, understanding group dynamics on challenge courses and greater awareness of environmental issues are now a critical part of K-12 school and university curricular, camp programs, and the leisure pursuits of a vast majority of physically active people worldwide. CAOER is a leading professional resource for cutting-edge training, high quality programs, and establishing standards in the field for all people across the lifespan.
