The Measurement & Evaluation Council (M&E) promotes both practical and theoretical endeavors in measurement and evaluation as they are applied in health, physical education, recreation, and dance. M&E supports members in a variety of qualitative and quantitative measurements of physical performance and the evaluation of physical activities and programs designed to improve the quality of life for all. We work to continuously to improve measurement and evaluation tools used in physical performance, physical activity, and program effectiveness.
M&E disseminates information about current measurement issues, advocates for including measurement in physical education and exercise science curricula, and provides measurement expertise for professionals.
