Finding the Presenter in You

Abstract:
 This article was written to encourage teachers to consider developing a presentation for a future AAHPERD convention. The article provides the reader with suggestions for creating ideas for presentations, and it discusses the elements needed to develop a presentation that will be well received by the audience. It offers almost a step-by-step approach to building a presentation, with tips for making the presentation a positive experience. Serving as a presenter provides an opportunity to give back to the profession and make the educational experience better for others. Those who become professionally involved demonstrate a philosophy of lifelong learning, thereby providing other teachers with a strong role model.
