Implementing IEP or 504 Goals and Objectives into General Physical Education Ellen Kowalski, Lauren Lieberman, Gina Pucci, & Carin Mulawka
Abstract:
What is the physical educator’s role in developing IEP/504 plans? This article addresses the needs of students with disabilities and, as an example, looks specifically at the accommodations made in a physical education class for one child with special needs. Through diligence in creating physical education goals that would be suitable for the child, the physical educator was able to successfully integrate him into her class.
