What’s in It for Me? An Intervention to Increase Physical Activity Among Adolescents in Physical Education
Melissa Chase, Robin Vealey, Nick Galli, Juli Evers, Justin Klug, & Kendra Reichert
Abstract:
Adolescents typically become less physically active as they progress through high school. This inactivity has led to some adolescents become unhealthy, overweight, and unmotivated to participate in physical activity. The purpose of this article is to present two interventions aimed at motivating physical education students to be more physically active. These interventions provide adolescents with information about how to maintain physical activity and find it more meaningful.
