Celebrating AAHPERD's Quasquicentennial: Strength Through Partnerships

Abstract: As part of AAHPERD's 125th anniversary celebration, this year-long feature—beginning in this issue and running through February 2010—will highlight the history and accomplishments of AAHPERD, its national associations, and the Research Consortium, especially over the past 25 years. The actual quasquicentennial celebration will take place at the Indianapolis National Convention and Exposition in 2010. This introduction provides a summary of the activities that have been planned for the celebration in Indianapolis.
