Abstract: The purpose of this feature is to address the different dimensions of PE Metrics. By adhering to the national standards when constructing a curriculum and using PE Metrics to determine student progress and final achievement, teachers will be able to document whether students are learning appropriate content at the expected level of achievement. This feature provides readers with a snapshot of PE Metrics, as well as justification for why the national standards and accompanying assessments should guide the efforts of all teachers throughout the nation.
