The ADA Badminton and Tennis Company's College and University Instructional Physical Activity Program (C/UIPAP) Research Award is provided with the intent of facilitating and supporting research efforts by administrators, faculty, instructors and researchers with an interest in enhancing C/UIPAP instructional environments. ADA Badminton and Tennis Company will provide up to $5,000 in funding to assist with the development, implementation and dissemination of research that potentially can lead to greater awareness of C/UIPAP-oriented research on an institutional, regional and national-level.
The purpose of the ADA Badminton and Tennis Company C/UIPAP Research Award is to provide financial assistance to individuals seeking to engage in well-designed research projects that focus on policy, pedagogical, or administrative issues pertinent to the implementation of quality C/UIPAPs. Specifically, proposed research is required to be conducted within the context of C/UIPAPs for a respective institution's general student population; excluding major (physical education teacher education, athletic training, exercise science, etc.) or specialty (ROTC, etc.) programs. General examples of acceptable research are (but not limited to):
